COUPLES RESORT JAMAICA

I truly cannot even begin to express how amazing our recent trip to Jamaica was. We stayed at COUPLES RESORTS JAMAICA and it was nothing short of perfection. The rooms were beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was top tier. It was the most romantic vacation Adam and I have taken yet!

If you followed our trip closely on Instagram, you probably watched my IG stories about losing my wedding ring. If not, let me fill you in.

When we were at Couples Resort, my wedding ring fell out of my bag along with a few other jewelry pieces I had in there. After frantically searching for several hours, we thought for sure the ring was gone. However, the amazing staff at Couples Resorts and other couples vacationing there, we were able to locate my ring buried in the sand. I am SO grateful for the sweet couple that located my ring and equally grateful for the staff that helped us search!

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES

When we left on this vacation, I had no idea that I would come out of it knowing three things stronger than ever:

1. Miracles happen

2. People are good

3. We are each braver than we know

MIRACLES HAPPEN (swipe to the end to witness one!)✨: We lost my wedding ring yesterday and I feel sick now even thinking about it. I nearly lost my mind when we couldn’t find it for hours, but we knelt down & said a prayer begging for help to find it.

Each time we were about to give up while searching, we found something / someone that gave us enough hope to keep searching. The first was one of my lost bracelets that said “faith”. Sounds so cheesy, but that was such a reassurance and gave us the hope we needed to keep looking.

PEOPLE ARE GOOD 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦: Every person that saw us searching, from tourists to staff at the @couplesresorts, to Jamaican vendors walking the beaches, asked us what we were looking for & then stopped what they were doing and joined the search. Despite what the media and news may tell us sometimes, I believe that PEOPLE ARE GOOD. I’m grateful for being taught that again this weekend.

WE ARE BRAVER THAN WE KNOW💪: Today I fully faced my fear of open water by doing my first full open water scuba dive. I LITERALLY never thought I could or would be able to do it, and I definitely cried several times while getting certified (see scuba story highlight 😂) but here I am, one day away from finishing my certification!

It was another miracle and a reminder to me that we are braver than we know - you are braver than you know, and you are more powerful than you can imagine.

Finally, thank you all for your kind messages and prayers to help us find my wedding ring. I KNOW that each one of those made a difference. I am so grateful for this community and the TENS OF THOUSANDS of prayers and messages that you each sent.

And don’t worry - Adam and I are definitely using travel rings from now on.

Our main reason for traveling to Couples Resort was to SCUBA DIVE! Many of you followed my scuba certification journey. Though I was scared and had to overcome my fears, there was nothing more incredible than scuba diving in Jamaica at Couples. It made the tears all worth it! Couples Resort offers a ton of amazing water sports and excursions! We did scuba diving, water skiing, and kayaking! In addition to water sports, we took full advantage of the different activities the resort had to offer. We did a late night paint class, enjoyed a STUNNING dinner on the beach, got couples massages.. ugh, writing this is making me wish I was back there right now!
